Redesigned 2014 Tundra coming to Chicago - February 7

At the time of its release, people were speculating that it was THE Taco replacement. Besides, how many Taco owners take take their vehicles offroad? If everyone else has quit, then make changes for the better (fuel efficiency) while keep good payload is a win win situation.

"A lot" probably depends on where you live and as for the 4 Runner/FJ, they can be turned to unibody platforms without sacrificing off road utility (see Grand Cherokee). Anyhow, this is getting OT, so I'll stop here...

I hope they completely redo the dash board on the new Tundra. The one in there now is way ugly, cheap feeling, and has horrible ergonomics. I think the radio is closer to the passenger seat than the driver's. To adjust the radio in that truck I have to lean up out of the seat like I'm adjusting the radio on a 1961 Coupe Deville. Both that car and the truck suffer from the same problem, car is too damn big and wide, sticking the radio in the center of the dash means that you can't reach it.

I hope this new Tundra will be really good. I hope they do not make it too funky looking. The current 4wd Tundra is by far the most the capable and strongest Toyota the company has ever made, but they need to tone it down to make this thing sell well.

Man, F toning it down to sell well. I really do like the "Gravedigger" styling of the current Tundra and Sequia. A truck needs to be brash, in your face, and have great proportions.
Toning the styling down means you end up with something stupid looking like GM's heavy duty trucks from a few years ago. Its like engineering and the styling department didn't even talk to eachother. I mean WTF is up with that wheel to body gap, it makes the wheels/tires look tiny.

Looks like some front and rear changes, and hopefully some big interior changes. But not "All-New"

It's hard to tell if a full size truck is redesign or not. I can't hardly tell the differences between previous Silverado and the new one beside the front change. That's said, new rear fender, new interior, new front end can be considered as re-design.
