Am I the only person to find this car completely unappealing? The front end is garbage and the kit and wheels make it look even worse. Both Lorinser and Hamann need to update their 10 year old wheel offerings, and they need to fire the designers they hired from Kaminari. Look at that front emblem and the logo on the rear bumper. Ridiculous!

As you said though, the lines are awful, the front looks like crap, the rear looks dated, and the whole package put together is trash. When will some people learn that sometimes, less is more.
It would be awesome without that funky front end. I guess all of the new Benzes have since the new CLS' I keep seeing around have the same goofy front end.
They should have kept the old body style and just updated the interior.

I think they are more than just "not bad" looking. It's just the Lorinser model I ain't feeling. Stock SL's look really nice to me. I test drove one and came away feeling like I could own one. it's really 3 cars in one. A vert, a GT and a sport coupe all in one. Quiet and bullet proof with the top up and sunshine soaking beach cruizer at will. With the Magic Sky roof, its all of those models at once. Nice power even in base guise. Complete luxury and comfort.
Only complaint was too much luxury in the steering but I made several sharp turns and came away feeling like it was a good buy.
The OP car is overdone. So many vents and openings! The chop above isn't great either. I think the SL looks good, just needs different wheels. Looks better with the top up.
