Might (?) be illegal in some states.....depending on just how dark the tint can be adjusted.

Beat me to it. The only one that would be tough would be the rear window cause he'd have that on cam the whole time, and if the cam catches you changing the tint....well then you're truly busted.

Doesn't mercedes already have a feature similar to this, but just for their sunroofs?

I think they call it magic sky control

you can leave the rear glass obscured. That is not illegal, as long as you have side mirrors.
