Which car to buy out of these??
Just curious on your cars input......
Has to be a 4 door car....has to have some power (last 3 cars are SL55, M6, new turbo 750li)...and have good curb appeal for the price paid. I drive a lot....25-30k miles per year.
Not feeling the Jag XF or XJ......don't really want a Panamera unless it was a Turbo or S....and those are still going for $100k used. The new Lexus GS looks bad IMHO, too.
So....
BMW 550i
BMW 750
New Benz CLS550
Audi A6
Audi A7
possibly Audi A8
possibly new LS460 (not feeling that car in the pics...but haven't seen it in person). I like the front...don't like the rear and sides.
I'm not 100% thrilled with the whole A7/Panamera type look.....I don't know.
I'm also not a huge fan of the Audi S cars.....I just think they are 3 steps below an AMG or M.

In terms of overall quality......LS460 has my vote......none of the other options even come close to matching the quality.....
Sure you might not get the sporty feel of the other cars......but depending if you're looking at longevity and a car that won't kill your wallet over time.....Lexus will win.

On a style front, the A6, A7, or A8 gets my vote. One option you don't have listed is a Benz S-class, both it and the CLS are very sweet machines as well. Personally I like the extra space and more upright, traditional styling of the S-class. The swoopy roofline makes the CLS feel tight and clausterphobic for a big sedan, you do sacrifice for the cool look

Here is my issue with the LS460....the 2013 is the same chassis as the 2007-2012 apparently, correct? In other words......it really is just a "mid cycle refresh" that was done for 2013 (albeit a more major one....kind of like how the Benz SL had the whole front end done in 2009-2012....but it was the same chassis as the 2003-2008 cars until the new one came out in 2013).
One thing I definitely don't want to do is pay $90k for a car.....just to have it be totally refreshed in 3 years (like it sounds like the LS460 might have done).
I bought my 750 in late 2010 (it was a 2011 model).....and they just did the refresh for 2013....but with the exception of LED headlights....the changes are minor in 2013 compared to 2009-2012. At least had I kept that car....I know it would have been primarily the new model until 2016 or so (when new 7 series comes out).
As for the S550....the new model will come out next year....so the ones now will drop like rocks by then. Cars are never an investment, I know.....but to pay that much for something that will be an old model next year will be wasting so much money on depreciation.
I was really disappointed in the new GS....and I've seen it in person......it just seems like it's looking more and more like a Corolla or Camry to me. I really wanted to like the new GS, too. My SC400 is still my favorite car I've ever had.....

Next 6 months.....unless great deal comes along. Just paid off SL55....so would love to drive it for a few months to gain some equity back (ha....unless it breaks again...which is very possible). Unfortunately, leasing looks out for me because of the miles I put on (that's why I got rid of the 750).

Other than that, I think the F10 BMW 550i is the sharpest looking car in class, and IIRC you can easily bump up the HP through factory-endorsed modifications to give it M5-like performance in a straight line (or close).

Wait do you have an SL55 AMG or an SL500 (or both?). I don't understand how you would get "equity" back by driving a car longer. What do you mean?
The best way to get the most out of any car is to buy it outright and literally run it into the ground. On a per month basis, you get the best value over long periods of time that way.
