Insideline: 2013 Avalon Hybrid: 46 City MPG of awesome!
#47
I am reading mix reviews here. Edmunds is the first one to say how quiet the new Avalon is. Most of the other reviews noted that the new Avalon could be quieter...even one said that the Hyundai equivalent was quieter on the highway! So, which is which? I guess that i have to wait for the big mags to test and compare.
For me, Avalon and ES are direct comparisons because both are within the same price point. I don't care if Avalon is flagship or not. I don't care if we need to compare flagship of Toyota vs. Lexus...that's dumb because what is the price gap b/w the two? Isn't the LS twice the price of the Avalon?
Now, the bigger competition FOR ME is b/w Avalon Hybrid and the upcoming Acura RLX SHAWD. If Acura can keep price competitive, then i would jump for Acura if it is even within $10k difference.
