it looks like one they'd buy from their old subsidiary, chrysler.

and holy round vents, batman... that's at least 6 across there.

I think it is cool, the round air vents looks like the Bentley Mulsanne:

It might not fit it's image though, it fit the Bentley because it got an old school image, where the S-Class is usually seen as high tech and modern.

Not sure if I like the interior, nothing special comparing to the current one. I need more pics!

That instrument gauge cluster+screen makes it look like a double screen-pretty cool

I've seen this guy on the road (disguised and such) a few months back.

Perhaps what we are looking at is the luxury trim. I hope the sport trim gets a 3 spoke steering wheel.

That steering wheel reminds of the kind that rotates but has a stationary airbag center, like in a Citroen. Also keyless go has always been an option

lock and unlock buttons on the door seem out of place and hard to use

Left and right rear windows and side shades. Or it give the boss the control of all 4 windows.

Hyundai Equus started it (can't find a picture quickly).

Here is the best picture I can find, you can see the dual window switches on the rear door that can control the two rear windows from either side:

having all four on one side is a bit excessive. I prefer it on the center armrest

Not expressing my opinion, just saying what all those switches probably does.

Luxury features are maxed out, they have to do something different to stand out.

I am waiting for heated armrest and door handle

Except the Mulsanne's look WAY better and more elegant

The current S-class dash already looks old school and the new iseems to be going even more to that direction ...

Interesting, I see two auto buttons on the dash for climate. Seems like there will be separate auto zones for driver and passenger.

It is so weird that the S class has its own interior design theme when all other MB cars have similar elements (which I find more appealing to be honest). Didnt really like the bulbous round center console on the current model and dont really love it on the new one either.
