Default My NEW SRT8 SUV

Took the plunge an bought my wife a new Jeep SRT8 to drive the family around in. I could not talk her into any Lexus offerings, she wanted a more sporty feel.

This thing is GREAT! Looks good in the garage next to the ISF.

Anyone else on here have one?

Nice! I don't see many of these around. And when I do they fly by so quick I barely see them anyways

Nice, looking forward to upcoming mid-cycle refresh with the 8 speed transmission and revised interior.

congrats! My only wish is that they'd move the dual exhaust to the center like the last generation!

Thanks Guys. We should be seeing the 2014 at the Los Angeles Auto Show end of this month. I really wanted to wait for the 8speed and rumored 8" nav screen but my wife didnt want to wait. I ordered a Borla Attack Exhaust and Bwoody intake for it, should allow us to hear the beast a little more.

From the videos I have seen over on the jeep forums those mods make it sound great.

many complaints with the tow hitch issue, and no one (i think) was able to mass produce a solution...my buddy custom built a hitch to go under it to pull his ski's

it's one fast truck...a killer on mpgs, low teens

new one loks nice!!!

Congratulations. Quite a Jeep, there.

Check the Owners' Manual, though, and the specs before towing something or carying a heavy load. It doesn't make sense to me, with all that power and torque (and the heavy-duty suspension/brakes) but Chrysler did not allow towing with past SRT Grand Cherokees (I'm not sure about the new version).
