Would have looked SO much better without the tacked-on LED bar dividing the side intakes.

And yeah... that front TMG badge... :-\

Nice performance numbers though, IF it ever sees any production, which I very much doubt it will.

So they spend over a year on a car to NOT make it? It may not be the exact vehicle, but I expect TMG models in the near future. Notice it makes 641hp @6500rpm? They didn't even tax the engine to make that power (9000rpm was the initial redline, not 7450).

well they could use parts of the engineering, engine, etc... or amke TMG performance sub-brand or do nothing with it... a lot of money spent into R&D goes nowhere.

Wait so it will have a price?

This seems way past a possible LS F and more like a Brabus or black Series as someone mentioned.

LOVE IT!!

The 9000rpm figure shown in the spy pic, as most of us have long suspected, must've been an typo. Simple as that. Don't tell me the engine would still have an identical 650ps output when revved to 9000rpm if you believe the original spy pic is true:

Is not that impressive, F10 M5 and E63 today does it with 100 less hp.

It indicate it is severely traction limited, even with those 345s.

i look at size. what's the time on s63 and s65?

and 3.9 is impressive no matter how you look at it. i didn't say m5 and e63 aren't impressive. how many cars out there can do sub 4 these days?

Must be traction limited, RWD can't put that much power as efficient as AWD, S8 does 3.7sec with "only" 520HP.

Isn't the LS a heavier car than the 5 series sized M5 and E-class based E63? It's one class size larger than the M5/E63 so not surprising it needs more hp to achieve the same 0-60 numbers.

size yes, but weight wise the m5 is just as heavy (or likely heavier) than the ls

My definition for "impressive" is "out of the ordinary", "unexpected". That's why I say 3.9 is not impressive, because it is expected for this level of hardwares.

Also to note 3.9 is the claim #, it will be 3.5~3.7 in real life testing if it does come with those 345s tires. F10 M5 have claim # of 4.2~4.4 (I think), real life is 3.7.

Of course it is extremely awesome if Lexus put this car into production.

S63 and S65 all do about the same times, they are a hair slower due to their skinny 275~285 rear tires. All these high power RWD heavy luxury cars are all severely traction limited.

BINGO

That's why all Supra with the same rear tires run 12s, regardless if it got 400 hp or 2000 hp.

They are about the same. This TMG LS is SWB and got a few CF pieces on it.
