I'm talking about Skyline R34, but I don't mind R35 either. :P If Toyota makes Supra MkV, it will replace my WRX, and I get "most likely" a used Focus RS in addition. Too young for comfort. LOL

I'm under impression that Honda will screw NSX buyers by making a more affordable sport car that can outperform NSX a few years down the road. S2000 runs around circle NSX despite the fact it's a FR.
The more affordable Honda/Acura sports car is unlikely to come near the performance of the new NSX. Rumors are it will either have a 4cyl turbo hybrid or a V6 without the hybrid hardware and likely de tuned if not just normally aspirated for around 400hp to maybe 450hp, it may even weigh more because it won't be using as light/exotic materials.

On tracks with a lot of curves and few straight a ways the smaller lighter more balanced front mid engine S2000 is generally more nimble then a NSX but on tracks with longer straights the 6 speed 290hp NSX will still be able to beat a S2000 in most cases with its bigger engine, more hp, and torque.

As much as I like the more modern S2000 I still would never take it over a older NSX.

car looks great... as to the price and performance, who knows what their goals are.

It is probably not "too expensive", it is about same price as loaded i8, while being much more serious vehicle with over 550hp.

Now, with Honda being pragmatic as Toyota, maybe they should have considered it being plugin hybrid with 15 mile range to beat CO2 emission tests/taxes as well as to gain some extra 60hp from larger battery.

Of course catch 22 is that Acura does not have brand cache to sell $150k car, but at the same time this is great way to build it.

Doubt it, DSG is faster so why make the high performance model loose performance.

There are always a few linger around, the 09' SC430 still had a cassette deck.

No more manual on the new Z06 sedan (CTS-V).

You're comparing a manual transmission in a new car and a cassette deck in a car that has stopped production for several years
