Acura appears to be doing a half hearted customization program.
Only 4 interior color choices, that is a joke.
Maybe after the initial sales bolus (1 to 2 years In) they will add a proper bespoke program.
The recent info from Acura also renders most of what I have heard from the local dealers to be all wrong. The guy who said he will get their first car in February seems like he was dreaming. If the rights to 001 gets auctioned in January and they build that car in early February, I guess they could build some demos and spec cars prior to starting the customer ordered cars at the end of February/early March.

Went for 1.2 million
to Rick Hendrick, even though he is assoicated with Nascar he is also big into Honda/Acura, he owns several dealerships. Money from the sale was donated to charity. Most of the upcharges do seem within reason.
The configurator appears to start with the car having carbon ceramics. I had heard that Acura wanted to build all the cars with these for the first 6 months.
The build I did came to $173,300.
White with the saddle interior, regular wheels, alcantara headliner, tech package, premium sound without XM

Nav, upgraded hifi and front/rear parking sensors for $2800.

Rear CF spoiler $3000.
Lesson is, they know they can stab and grab from the CF junkies.
