Love that color combo!!!!!! Wifey got good taste.
So, BP, that means you can get a less practical purchase. No need for 2 four-doors. I think I see you in a Boxster. Make it happen!

Yeah, saw a JDM/TRD FRS at a meet Sunday...it was amazing...just very small..something to get used to.
All these years we asked Lexus to do this combo and they responded! Very happy with it.
lol

So now that we have seen updates on the new IS.....well now I'm curious. But I and we don't really need a smaller sedan. I sure wish they debuted the coupe the same time as the sedan.
The new Cayman looks good but egads S price is really tough. Again the FRS is just amazing to me for the money but short 50hp to me. I've been reading on the supposed STi with 250hp N/A...sounds interesting but would it then be 35k?
CTS-V wagon has always been sexy and you can get some killer deals on them.
A super wild card is the GEnesis Sedan. They are giving 10k off the V-8 models in some instances. 35k for a V-8 Genesis ,that is a smoking deal.
I drive a lifted Wrangler a ton now so I'm really enjoying the high view, so now I"m thinking maybe look at SUVs...
fawk....usually I know what car I want...this is really new to me.

That's something you and I have always agreed on....the CTS wagon, in general, has dynamite looks. I'm not sure, though, if the V-version, even with the 556 HP Corvette powerplant, is worth the extra moolah over the standard version. Insurance would also (probably) run substantially more on a V.

CTS-V wagon looks dated to me already...
I vote no to the Genesis - that's just another sedan that will drive worse than your new GS. Then you'll have 3 sedans! Variety is the spice of life.
An SUV is actually very nice to have and drive at times, and having the utility is great. Platinum Crewmax with TRD SC! Of course I would agree with your ultimate choice, the Cayenne GTS.
Actually, I hope you end up with something different, like the new Jag F Type.

I'm willing to ignore the dated look of the CTS-V. 556 HP and 0 to 60 in sub-4 for a relatively cheap $60k-$70k (IIRC) is an amazing deal. You won't be fussing about extra modifications to the car. You won't have to worry about the long term reliability-influences of such extra modifications.
You've never struck me as a power-hungry kind of guy before, so I say why not indulge in new territory with the CTSV?
