2014 gs f

Lexus did it back then in 98 when it debut the GS400.......kicked the Germans' butt in the hp dept.
Now that the GS has the driving dynamic down and reliability, imagine pairing that with bigger *****.
This will definitely wake things up!
Man, I still get tingly watching this.
There's no hatin' or anything, just want Lexus to re-ignite that spark again.

I think something that interests me is the title change on this thread which added 2014 to the mix. If that's true as in MY14 rather than MY15 that has me very interested. Hmm.....

Motor Trend's most recent "Head 2 Head" comparison pits the Panamera GTS vs. the M5 and I think it's worth a watch in the context of these conversations: http://youtu.be/QhykdFxSWR0
Panamera GTS:
430 hp
384 lb-ft of torque
4,367lbs
M5:
560hp
500 lb-ft of torque

Speed and handling will be close on all 3 models. One may be a a couple of tenths faster and a bit better on the track but on roads the 3 are too close to tell any difference.
The M5 and E63 AMG trim looks great.I like the style of both cars.
I wouldn't buy or lease any of the 3.
However,I'm seriously considering going back to leasing and just may go with a '14 535i or A6..

1) looks
2) brand cachet

10000000 ) actual handling/performance
In that case, may I present the perfect car for you : a 528i in M-Sport trim. Seems like you like all-show and no-go cars.

I like the idea of the GS-F but if you're interested in power you want the most power. If you're interested in drive feel you want the best drive feel for you. I'm passively researching my next 4-door sedan now and the GS-F would be a contender just because I'm so enamored with my GS4 so there's a bit of brand loyalty built in there. I think Lexus has to look beyond the brand loyal consumer though and if hp numbers are the swaying factor in today's market they'll have to increase the hp numbers. Bottom line, it's great to have a GS-F but it seems it would be greater to have a factory s/c'd GS-F that puts down #s in line with the competition.

Guys, let's keep this on topic about the GS-F please.
I'd welcome some PM discussion on the other off topic stuff if you like.

Most of you guys sound like all of the LFA haters that complain about the LFA only having 550 hp for an exotic/supercar while everybody else appreciate and buy on the driving experience.
Same thing went for when the 4GS first came out. Everybody complained about low hp while Lexus had sales through the roof, converting buyers from direct competitors.
