GS300 vs IS300 drive line comparison? Whats better?
I am looking into which car is a better as a donor vehicle.
A local salvage pool have 2004 is300 and a 2004 gs300 for sale. the Is is a roll over and the gs is bent like a banana, both run good with 100k on both, both are hella cheap.
Both are auto(obviously) but it doesn't really bother me. Body and suspension are not a factor in this, I am looking into building something fun with a recovered z06 frame I have sitting. I will be moving on this in the next week.
What I am trying to find out is, which car should I be looking into. From what I have seen the is may have lsd. Which one has the stronger trans for boost? does ether one have stronger stock internals. Which one is more tuner friendly without going ems? Anything else I should be considering?
