These mainland Chinese carmakers think they can succeed in the EXPORT markets by making blatantly obvious copycats? Sometimes the communist party nationalist extremists sometimes need to have their heads examined

Before anyone here gets too offended, remember that 50 years ago Japan was doing exactly the same thing. From tin toys in the early fifties, Japan had moved on to somewhat larger models . . . here a Datsun DC3 of 1952 vintage, modeled after some of the early postwar British sports cars:

China is now embarking on the same process of growing an auto industry. It may take them a while to get over the poor design and completely miserable execution in tin and plastic that were the hallmarks of Japanese industry for the first twenty years of the postwar era. Well this isn't at all shocking or surprising. The government in china isn't willing to do anything about it either, which is also no surprise.
The Chinese government seems to have as much respect for IP as they do for butterscotch pudding.

I'm not going to lie here...
That hood looks good on the RX clone. I know that If that was an option, I would have a lot of customers put that hood on. Close to the 10+ style, but without the best change.
