I first joined CL years ago with a Lexus IS300, but then had a Subaru Outback. I now have a new Buick Verano.....which, in effect, is a small German/American Lexus.....it's that refined.

I always loved the big Cadillac boats. Probably going to buy a 69 or 70 Deville next, but it'll just be a toy, I daily drove these two cars through college, sold the 91 for the 95, now I sold the 95 for the 92 SC300 I have now.
I really do regret selling that 91 Brougham. I should've kept it and done some cosmetic work on it, as it was the best running, least problematic car I ever owned.
Also had a 98 Camaro Z28 ragtop as a toy for about a year, and drove a 99 Z28 for a couple years as well. Overall I'm a GM man, but Lexus over the past 20 years has built significantly better cars than Cadillac, even if they are rather bland in terms of styling(current gen CTS being the only exception, as those are way cooler than an IS)

I have owned or currently own multiple brands of cars, currently have aVolvo wagon (Xc70) to carry my dogs (have four retrievers) and the height of the SUV make a chore to get all the dogs in, a Porsche Panamera to have fun with (although I may get a 911 Carerra as I always like to have a true sport car in the garage. I currently have three Lexus cars - CT that my better half drives, a IS cab for fun rides in the summer and a GS as my daily ride.

ive been lurking for such a long time lol but never bought one. had considered an sc300 but keep talking myself out of it because i hate the doors, the hinges, the climate control, the gas tank and a couple other things that i just cant modify or change. i liked the GS300 but theyve become so dated looking in my eyes. id do a 2jzgte IS250... but i cant justify spending $20k on a clean car just to take it apart.

I've seen this over on MBWorld since I'm considering an E55. I like them but a used STS-V is a consideration as well. Or, I'll hold out until the 2gen CTS-V's are more reasonable.

For now I have the GS4, C6, and Stealth R/T TT.

No longer have my 92 Lex LS,,finally parted with her this past March. Now have a 2010 Taurus, and I actually am liking the car alot. Have loved the new look of this when they re-introduced it, but was hesitant to drive one. Finally took one for a spin, and it DEF is a diference from the one's I remembered driving back in the day. I may eventually step back up to Lexus when i can afford to play alot harder than I can now, but in the meantime, this AIN'T a bad place to be.

Agreed. The big Caddy boats, especially older ones, are not the most reliable vehicles on the road, but they are C-O-M-F-O-R-T-A-B-L-E.
