i failed to see how that SUV thinks it has the priority of merging.

with that said, driving in other nations can be very frustrating, and if you drive like the way you drive here in U.S., you will not got anywhere anytime soon.

Amazing...it never ceases to amaze me how getting one car ahead is such a fixated goal with drivers. The Prado driver was going to suffer being behind the other car? And to get the blood pressure up?!

Can just see the resulting evening news:

Road closed due to a shooting incident between two drivers. A driver of a SUV cut off a smaller car and antagonized its driver this afternoon. Witnesses say the occupants of the smaller car pulled AK-47's and fired at the moving vehicle causing it to crash. The car was reported stolen last week and police are looking into the identity of the other driver who left the scene.

if that prado driver would just slow down a tad and get behind the sedan, it wouldn't amount to this situation

I see it all the time on these CA roads.

I particularly hate it when there's no one behind, instead of slowing down to get behind you, they speed up and cut right in front of you, causing you to slam on the brakes.
