I really like the upside down pyramid triple exhausts of the LFA. They're very iconic and unique to the LFA.

If this is the LFA2 then :O

Technological know-how acquired from the R & D and manufacturing process don't count ?

Besides, didn't you say there isn't a Lexus dealership anywhere near where you live now ? so ...

Wouldn't that just **** off people who haven't had their LFA delivered yet and cause cancellation of current orders? My guess is some Saudi wanted a special order.

Useless vents? That's where the radiators are

I don't think those 4 giant holes on the rear grills are exhaust port at all, they could be active aerodynamic vent holes like the ones found in the taillights location on the 599XX:

Active aero is one of the next big thing in exotic cars I think.

Engineering wise, it makes very little sense that they would re-route the exhaust to right behind the radiators just for looks, and it is almost impossible to relocate those 2 radiators, it is a major change to the entire packaging of the car. I say the exhaust is still in the same lower central location, just hidden behind those huge diffuser.

That is always a possibility, afterall Toyota is indeed the leader of electric propulsion by far.

If so, that means Lexus is gunning for the Porsche 918 or even the Audi E-tron

Electric makes sense... Especially with all the evironmentally conscious responses given lately in interviews... And it wouldn't alienate current owners.

Any thoughts on what a price tag for an electric LFA would be?

i would worry how far it can go at full throttle first

to me it's very possible that this is lfa shell but they are testing something internal, could be for concept, lfa2, etc...

i don't think lfa success should be measured by its sales or popularity, at least to toyota. they know they lose money with every lfa made anyway. but the technology and r&d behind is what they aim for and hopefully what pays off over time.

Wow. What would make you say that. The LFA contrary to anti-Lexus people and Lexus haters has made quite a shot around the world. B/C even people that dislike it know about it. Its quite talked about in the industry too and its name is rarely ommitted when the talk of new exotics comes up. At SEMA last year the first car you saw walking in was a LFA used by Falken.

I am stunned quite frankly.
