Well, Lindsay Lohan did it again. After wrecking two of her own Mercedes SL AMGs with DWIs, she managed to crack up a rented Porsche 911, ramming it into a 18-wheeler and totalling it. Fortunately, she wasn't badly hurt....a testimony to the Porsche's stout structure and safety-features (not to mention, of course, those in her Mercedes as well).

(I just wonder how much she pays for auto-insurance?)

Over and above that, though, in some ways, I feel sorry for her. We all know she's had physical, mental, and legal problems, so there's no need to go into those again here. But, until this latest accident happened, she seemed to have been making some progress.

She needs to hire a driver. Or invest in driving lessons as clearly she can't handle these high performance cars. I won't judge her because I don't know her, but clearly she lacks the skill or is unlucky.

I don't think that a lack of driving-skills (or potential driving-skills) is ultimately the problem. After all, she's young and (presumably) still has good reflexes, good vision/hearing, brain motor-coordination, and a sharp mind. She just uses poor judgement....and won't (or can't) stay away from booze and dope....that's what's killing her.

A shame, too, since she had (finally) seemed to be making some progress.

Reminds me of Finding Nemo when all the fish are scared to be given to the girl because she kills every one that she gets. It's probably a similar situation when Lindsay walks into a dealership and all the cars get scared that she will pick them because they know they will be wrecked soon.

her crashing the porsche is old news, been a few days. the recent update was that she lied to cops saying it was her assistant driving but seems like otherwise. if so, good luck to her probation

I have no idea why anyone would feel sorry for her. She's had every possible opportunity to turn her life around, but instead insists on being a complete waste of a human being. And that's fine, if she wants to intoxicate herself to death so be it, but she is dangerous to those around her, how in the world does she even have a license? Eventually Lohan will end up killing or seriously injuring someone, it's inevitable.

Non-PC response: OMG, is the car OK??

Not sure about this person's ability to mentally recover towards a decent life, so I won't comment on it. But this kind of record doesn't deserve a license to drive a car.
