What if Lexus made a sub RX LUV based off of RAV4?

A Rav4 based Lexus ute has to be in the cards. Lexus will need to use the extra V6 Rav4 capacity for something, I see a Lexus Rav based ute coming out of Cambridge Ontario Canada.

heh, as fake as that is, i cant wonder if there is some truth in the looks as we can see how front end follows new LS with design of the lights, fogs and rest of the front end... and those LS pics were not unveiled when the illustration was made...so lets hope it will be half as aggressive as this.

Clearly highly exaggerated but this doesn't look like any existing Lexus. A lot of these guys are told hints and draw from what they are told.
Looks fantastic there. The market isn't a guarantee for success as the first gen RDX, EX cute utes flopped but the Evoque again is selling like mad as the X1 from BMW.

The Venza has an even longer chassis than the RX, on which the Highlander chassis was based.
"It is currently slotted in size and price between the RAV4 compact crossover SUV, and the Highlander mid-size crossover SUV that has third-row seating. However, the Venza is an inch longer than the Highlander and for the 2009-2010 model years, the base Venza's MSRP was $1000 USD higher than the base Highlander."

Well to add my 2cents worth - I have been a Lexus driver for many years. I am now at a point that the RX350 is too large and the CT200h is too small.
I currently have GX450 that is ready for trade and if Lexus doesn't have a CX300H available - it's bye-bye Lexus and hello to another manufacturer who has their finger on the pulse of where my demographic is looking for.

We might see it probably at the end of 2013 early 2014.
