Default Unintended acceleration of a BMW caught on camera

This happened in South Korea on November 5, 2011 according to the video description. Anyone has the full story?

Would pulling the e-brake help or will that ruin the car?

Not so much "Unintended Acceleration" as much as "Intended Stupidity"

no, the emergency brake is for the rear and not strong enough. The front brakes is more powerful than the engine, so the best and right way to do is step on the brake or put in neutral. If a driver can't do both of that then might as well ride along with the car until it hit something.

If a car was actually accelerating on its own, would it matter? Doesn't that constitute as an energycy?

But back to the question, over time surely. I once drove my mustang with the ebrake on accidentally. Can't imagine it was good for the car. Felt super sluggish till I realized I had it on the whole time

if there's any actual serious news reporting on this, start another thread. otherwise these lame videos of a supposed event aren't worth posting about.
