I've never been in one. Either way I'm not going to DD a Porsche when my garage queen is barely a GS

I picked up a Mazda Miata (95M) a few months ago as my DD. Love everything about the car. I'm only 5'4", so it's not like I'm going to have much trouble fitting into the car or anything. There is so much room in the engine bay to maintain and work on the car, it's really a nice breather from the cramped-as-hell IS250 engine bay. There's a huge supply of parts for the car still, and the car is so simple, it's very straightforward to modify. The clutch feels great; it inherently has a pretty short throw already, and it shifts in and out of gears with ease.

My car only has 89k miles (I've put on 3k), so most of the car condition was inherited from the previous owner. Even the body shop I took the car to was amazed at how well the car was kept. The convertible is a great bonus too, especially in this California weather.

good suggestion!

however, DC5 are a little too common in my area, and prone to theft.I left the Honda scene long ago with my EK and grew up (not hating on Honda's)

The only other Honda I'd consider is a Del Sol or s2k.

That's what I plan on doing to mine. Minus the wheels though, because I already have the BBS wheels. Just going to give it a nice drop and keep it that way. I spent about half a year looking, and ended up driving down to Pismo Beach (~200 miles) to pick one up.
