interiors are typically very dated. kind of high prices. not great fuel economy. lack of marketing.

I don't agree with you Bits.
Mazda interiors were always ahead than Toyota since I first got my Mazda in 1999 over a Corolla.
The 2003 Mazda6 dash/center console was wayyy ahead of it's time.
Hyundai has been the cheap, reliable, 100k wty car.

but when i look at the interior of a new highlander, and the interior of a cx7 or cx9, i like the highland interior a lot more.
good points.

I love Mazda's concepts. Striking and Bold. Something the brand needs to infuse into it's line-up. Mazda's have always put good effort into their projects but it's never enough to truly capture buyers who flock to competitors.
This Shinari concept is what the Infiniti M should have been IMO. If they produced the Shinari and in a dual clutch/manual set-up with rear or awd and a choice of engines ranging from turbo four with respect to the speed6, V6, or even a small displacement V8. I could only dream!
The Takeri concept is also a work of art. powerful and artistic. Sharp and curvaceous lines.
Love the Furai! It reminds me of a blanks draped over two axles
