Lexus Advisory Board sent me a survey to fill out on the new LS...they asked about my interest in a 5 liter V8, Turbo V6, hybrid V6 and a gas V6.
Pretty interesting. I'd be most interested in the 5L V8 and hybrid V6. A gas/turbo V6 could be decent too, it would just need to be pretty powerful (340hp+) to move an LS around with decent gusto.
Sidenote: I'd like to see Lexus offer a standard V6 (~340hp) and optional TTV6 (~415hp) in the GS, perhaps even moreso than a V8.
I still think that Toyota's work with electronically-assisted turbos will bear some fruit...
I just hope they get it right whatever it looks like. IMO, the refreshes of the current LS are not up to par. They kinda took away the elegance of the car. Especially the hybrid.
Hehe yeah. That prototype has 640 hp (which is S65 AMG territory). It would be insane if all that 640 hp would be in a next-gen LS-F (production model).
If Lexus is capable of making it, then I say: BRING IT

There's a reason why I posted that image of the TMG edition as despite TMC's denial, it was very likely involved in development of the upcoming 2013/14 model. The fact that the TMG's lower valance grille was even shaped like the spindle fascia means it could have been a test mule.
Yup, they've incorporated the Lexus L logo by digging into the grille. I liked this detail also in the LF-LC. I also noticed the headlights in the LS look very similar to those seen in the LF-Gh!
