The MP4-12C have a flat plane crank too, but the turbos muffled the shriek.
Yes mostly only Ferraris has the flat plane crank, but a few other road cars has it too, can't remember at the moment.

Holy moly, this "almost" sounds like a stock exhaust LFA, maybe I should be driving one of these, even though I dislike the rest of the car and I hate the SMG, but just for the sounds!!

This is why I have no love for the porsche. To me, it sounds horrible, like a cheap lawnmower

haha thanks. This is all I care now, just sounds, looks and the badge, so sad, I turned into a poser 
Yes flat-6 Porsche don't sounds good at all, I won't call it horrible, just not good at all. 911 is like the GTR, it is good for one thing only, speed. I guess the 911 got some style too. The GT3 RS is the best sounding one, still not even as sweet as the NSX. Flat boxer don't sounds good, the flat 4 in Subarus sounds horrible, flat 6 in 911 are not good, even the flat 12 in Ferraris are not good sounding motor.
It is the best of the VW, but still not good
C-GT is top 3, if not the best.

I even listened to the Spoon NSX-R with the Toda 3.5L with ITB, still no cigar, 8 cylinders is a minimum requirement. You can just tell if that motor is a V8, it would shriek. Same with the K20 motor, it sounds sweet, but you can tell it is only half sweet, mate 2 of them together then it would scream like a M3.
