P.S.
HOLY ****!!! I can't believe none you guys asked about it cause.......

Hang on, since they said 7 seater, does that mean they're killing the Veracruz???
I just bought a CX-9--which I loved from the drive home from the dealer 3 weeks ago. Didn't bother looking at the Veracruz because it was being discontinued. Not that I would have waited for the new Santa Fe (plus, I'd rather avoid a car's first model year); but if it was out now, the Santa Fe would be right at the top of the list.

My aunt bought a loaded santa fe recently and she loves it. I think this new one will be a step up. Each generation always is

I think this is very attractive pricing and a very handsome SUV. What does this compete with? Rav4 and Ford Edge? Seems to offer a lot for the money.

Hyundai has released pricing information for its new five-passenger 2013 Santa Fe Sport, and those the least-expensive way to get your hands on one will cost you $24,450 – but don't forget to add in $825 for destination to any Santa Fe model. For those keeping track, the 2012 Santa Fe starts at $23,225.

Opting for all-wheel drive will bring the sticker to $26,200 if you're willing to stick with the base 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine offering 190 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. Check the box for the 2.0-liter turbo mill and you'll be met with a $27,700 sticker with front-wheel drive or $29,450 with AWD.

Want to pimp your ride with a leather interior with power seats (heated in the front and rear), rear-view camera, navigation screen with eight-inch screen and a panoramic sunroof? Be prepared to add $6,600 to the price of whichever model you've got your heart set on. That means a fully loaded Santa Fe with the turbocharged engine and all-wheel drive will go for over $36,000.

We're still waiting for pricing details on the seven-passenger version of the Santa Fe, but we assume it will run a bit higher than this five-passenger Sport model.

SWB is around the size of Rav4 but more expensive, LWB is bigger than Highlander but cheaper.

Splendid-looking SUV. This would be #1 on my list. Looks great outside, but dash is still a bit overstyled.

Well done Hyundai. They deserve huge credit for where they once were to where they are now.

Looks good, but too much emphasis on the fog light areas.

Way to go with the styling for Hyundai. This an obvious upgrade path for my gf and her Tucson. We'll be looking for a slightly larger SUV for her once her lease is up. In a couple of years all the kinks should be worked out. From our experience with the Tucson, Toyota is going to really have to knock one out of the park with the nnew Rav4 and otther models for us to look any further.
