That interior layout came straight out of Chrysler. Absolutely nothing luxurious about it. This is made for people who still think gold Rolex is epitome of luxury and style. They might think it's a classic while its a pure kitsch actually.

Default Rapper-Ready Bentley Bentayga Poses On 24" Custom Wheels

Out of all the Bentaygas we've currently seen wearing custom wheels, this is the first time we've seen one riding on a set of some massive 24" Forgiato Turni-M alloys.

The wheels have a rather peculiar design and they're definitely the biggest we've seen on a Bentayga - yes, even bigger than what Mansory or Startech have done, the latter going with up to 23 inches.

Let us know if you think the wheels on this particular model are too big or if they help Bentley's first-ever SUV stand out more.

Either way, we're guessing the car's off-road prowess is definitely compromised with these puppies on, which is a shame since Bentley did fit the Bentayga with their Drive Dynamics Mode as standard. Customers that want more can even go for the optionalResponsive Off-Road Setting with its 8 driving modes, plus the electronically-controlled adjustable air springs (themselves having four ride heights).

Then again, as with most luxury SUVs, we're guessing it's not going to go too far away from the main roads. Besides, the 600 HP (608 PS) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque should provide plenty of entertainment regardless.

Default Mansory's Take On The Bentley Bentayga Has 701 PS To Play With

The Bentayga might not sit well with a number of Bentley purists, but there are others who'll very happily line up for a Crewe-made SUV - and that crowd is exactly who Mansory is targeting with its quite extrovert proposition.

The Bavarian brand's take on the Bentayga is comprehensive. Thanks to its own autoclaves that are used to “bake” carbon fiber molds, it was able to design a completely new wide-body kit.

The Bentayga’s front fascia now features new carbon-fiber bits such as an integrated front lip, front grille with air scoops mounted on top and an ultra-lightweight hood. There are also wider fenders and side-skirts, while at the back a spoiler and a diffuser were added to reduce lift.

The vehicle’s cabin was up next, with Mansory saying the finest materials were used in order to match the car’s superior credentials. Changes include a new aluminum pedal set, a redesigned steering wheels, individually stitched floor mats, and even re-upholstered seats.

It's not all looks, though, as they also tuned the twin-turbo W12 to boast 701 PS (691 hp) and 1050 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque, so the Bentayga now tops out at an extraordinary 311 km/h (193 mph).

Default Bentley Bentayga V8

The glitzy, opulent Bentley Bentayga has so far only been available with a twin-turbocharged W12 in the United States, but that's going to change now that the company has unveiled the V8 version. The Bentayga V8 uses a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that, despite having two liters less displacement and four fewer cylinders, still makes a healthy 542 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. Those numbers are only official for Europe, though, as numbers for the United States are being finalized. It's not a whole lot slower than the W12, either, with a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph. The W12 hits 60 in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 187 mph.

What is a bit odd is that Bentley is marketing this V8 model as the "sporty" one, despite not being as fast as the W12. In support of the sporty identity, Bentley has endowed the V8 Bentayga with more aggressive looks inside and out with a black grille and unique dual exhaust tips, as well as an optional carbon fiber trim for the interior.

To back up the looks, the Bentley Bentayga V8 also has the option of carbon-ceramic brakes. And they're truly massive with 17.3-inch rotors at the front, and 14.6-inch units in the rear. The front rotors are clamped by 10-piston calipers, too. Bentley claims the front brakes are the largest in the world. The V8 Bentayga also can claim a roughly 100-pound weight advantage compared with the W12, though whether you'll notice that in an SUV that weighs over 5,000 pounds is debatable.

Pricing and availability haven't been announced for the Bentayga V8 yet.

Not surprising. You have to put some brakes on these vehicles. They weigh well in excess of 5000 lbs. empty, have massive amounts of torque, and, if desired, can cruise at Autobahn speeds. More go means more Whoa.

I can remember when some big vehicles this size didn't have adequate brakes (for example, 1990s and early-2000s-vintage GM Silverados, Suburbans, Tahoes, Escalades, etc...) They were notorious for lousy, unreliable brakes. Bringing one to a stop could be downright scary...the pedal-pressure required was excessive. My ex-supervisor bought one of that vintage (he loved Suburbans) despite my strong misgivings.

These cars have terrible value, extremely expensive but don't even look the part. It looks like its trying to fit in so hard, that and the lambo suv.

Yes, but there's a point of excess as well. To put things into perspective, these discs are bigger than the ones used in European Truck Racing, which tend to be around 16.9". That is on 11,000 lb trucks with over 1,000 hp going 100 mph around tight racetracks. Your 2.5 ton family-mobile probably doesn't need quite as much stopping power as they do.

Not good looking, but the inside is plush. The availability of the W12 is one of its few cool points IMO

Ugly, can't believe anyone would choose that corny hideous Subaru Forester looking thing over the Conti coupe/sedan or Mulsanne. Who is going to take a 200K+ luxury vehicle off roading?
