I thought the 458 had the same issue. Wonder why the engineers at Ferrari cant get this problem sorted. Anyone hear anything about the new FF going up in smoke. I saw this on facebook

Its really sad that after putting money down, waiting for close to two years, and then the car goes up in flames in 5 minutes. Its really sad. Even with the 458 you would have assumed that the Ferrari test drivers would beat the hell out of the test mules and got them hot enough to burn. Its amazing that they caught the issue with the 458 after release of the vehicles. Seems like its going to be going on with the FF. I dont think many like them anyway

LOL seriously?? That sounds so stupid, BUT i guess since this is their first shot at an AWD system ever in one of their cars something like this would be expected... but it's definitely not doing any good for the company though...

I love the FF (and I think it's way better than the 612 it has replaced)........but with this incident, I'm starting to have a few apprehensions with regards to build quality.
And yeah, the 458 had problems as well. You'd think after the incident of the flaming 458s, Ferrari would've learned their lesson.
It is worrying indeed and I'm puzzled how a problem like this still occurred. I remember they have videos showing extreme weather testing of the new FF in hot places like Arizona, Argentina and extremely hot Middle East (Dubai and Abu Dhabi included). I thought Ferrari learned from 458 incidents (???)
