I always wonder about the same too. I'm amazed at how the Germans are willing to go after every niche market and have something for almost everyone. I know Lexus is much younger, but Toyota was the largest and still is one of the largest automakers, so they don't lack resources. I'm surprised Lexus still doesn't have a proper IS coupe. all other major players and Infiniti and Hyundai in that segment have one. If I don't see one or solid plan of one when 3IS comes out, I'd be disappointed.
