27 city, 38 hwy? Now who is going to shop for a Sentra/Corolla/Cruze/Focus/3/Jetta/Elantra/Civic...etc when they can have a bigger car with more comfort/safety for almost the same gas efficiency? Nissan just sent everybody back to their labs. Now we have to wait for what the Accord can do.

Fantastic redesign! Everything about the body appears clean and in proportion. The stylish back end and clean window/roofline are especially pleasing. Also love the dash and center stack. Again, very clean, symetrical, and easy on the eyes.
As much as I've liked past Camry's, this car offers a lot more for the money.

I agree with the rest of you. Nissan came with their A-game and then some with this Altima. And I a lot of the new design features make absolute sense (standard Driver Assist). Styling is tasteful and slightly upscale inside and out. If it looks this good in pictures chances are it's really nice in person.
Accord will fall further in the distance until Honda's redesign shows up and it better be a doozy. This segment is full of probably the best cars there have ever been in this class.

DAMN!!!! That looks so mch nicer than the lest generation. They are going to sell a ton of these. After looking at this thing I cant believe how ugly the Accord is relative to this. They really did an amazing job with the interior as well

I still think Camry has the best looking front end among the mid-sized family sedan class. Kia Optima has the best looking profile. But this new Altima is definitely a great progress from the current one.

Looks great, almost like a redesigned A35 Maxima....great gas mileage (if real world numbers are true), but did you notice that they dropped the Hybrid this time around?
