What's wrong with using it? I feel like its perfectly fine.
Once you push it to the right from park... Just pull it back (and slightly towards you) and it'll naturally go through the "zig zag" and end up in D.
I don't find it hard/confusing/Bad/etc. I actually prefer it.

Update
Over the past few months, the 2013 Nissan Altima has slowly been dropping more and more camo. 1st we caught it with very heavy cladding which was followed by a lighter version of the same thing, but on a red car, and then finally, Nissan ditched the baggy stuff altogether and put some 3M tape covered in swirls.
Now we've got an even cleaner look courtesy of Nissan Japan's Youtube site. The video, celebrating 30 years of production at Nissan Technical Center, briefly shows a pre-pre-pre-production 2013 Altima with no camo testing. We can clearly see the new headlights, swoopy bodywork and a new, sharper grille.

I pray that's not it. The sagging 90's Buick/Oldsmobile character line looks weak, dopey, and feminine. =(
Nice 2006-7 IS250 rims btw.

The Altima has always looked like something else (J30, Lexus GS) and seems they are going to make it a copy of the M37/56. It usually works for them as that side looks just like the Innfiniti M37. Or maybe that is an Infiniti version of an Altima we are unaware of?
The car has been selling very well, wonder will they keep the coupe version.

Thank you There is no Allure in that pic at all, where that is sharp and taunt, this pic looks nearly exactly like the M37/56. They are doing a very poor job separating the brands b/c they are still the same brand in Japan.

Disagree. We're comparing a single fender as that's all that's visible in the prototype picture. Better to wait until we see the WHOLE car before we start saying what it looks like.

Side looks the exact same. I agree wait on the whole car.
