This reminds me of the conversion kits that allow you to transform a Chinese made SUV into a Lexus RX350:

hyundai and kia has been doing this for years. only way to be successful is to copy success.

BMW tried to sue a Chinese company for copying the X5 but didn't succeed, wonder if Ford will try to ...

this is very common in China... When I was still working at Toyota, we had one fair where our Land Cruiser and Rav4 were shown, and 2 booths over Great Wall had their copies. They looked 90% similar, and were half the price.

Of course, at those times, Chinese cars were crap, so once you sit in them, you realize how bad they are and end up wondering how come the price is so high :-).
