What does one of these Reventons cost in the US vs HK?
Whatever it cost in the US, double it. I think it is $1 million USD in the US if I remember right?

I am not clear on each country's law, but usually when you import any car, you have to pay the country's vehicle registration tax. Some countries have some exemptions for their residents, like for Taiwan, if you are actually moving back to Taiwan to live, then you can bring a car back with you without having to pay any tax.
Just like in the US right, whenever you want to register a car to your name, you have to pay tax on the value of the car, regardless of where the car came from.
I noticed the other day the front end of the Camry in Hong Kong looks almost identical to the LS460 and ES350
Is bad enough that you can hardly tell a LS from a ES, even their Camry look the same. No wonder $$ folks in HK only roll RR and Bentley, think Lexus is crap
