Ford Mustang Boss 302 beats M3, Aston DBS, Audi R8, Ferrari California in Hockenheim

Since Ford has yet to reveal any serious details from the testings performed on the new Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca, Sport-Auto Magazine took it upon themselves to run a performance test on the car at Hockenheim. Turns out, the Mustang has better braking performance than the Porsche 991 and is faster than the Aston Martin DBS, Audi R8, Ferrari California, and BMW M3 in Hockenheim. The Mustang’s potent 302 cubic-inch 5.0-liter V8 shreds through its 444hp, killing the vehicles listed above, but failing to outdo the BMW M5 F10.
Still, beating out the Porsche, Aston Martin, Audi, and BMW (the M3, not the M5) is enough to warrant some applause, especially considering the fact that the Boss is priced at $47,990, or less than half of the price paid for most of the cars on this list.

I used to say the same thing about the GTR and they would flame me. I had a good point but they did as well. I saw one on the street yesterday on the way home from work. The dude got on it hard from the light and it sounded like serious business

Even if you left out the price, the GTR is more of a clinical, robotic machine while, as PhilipMSPT mentions, this is more of a car that you can go buck wild with and also put down awesome track numbers. That said, I'm no fan of this ugly paint scheme.

Nissan GTR starts at $97,820 which is more than double the price of the Mustang 302.

Either one ROCKS!!!
And I'd take either over a GT-R any day... just my preference and I've been against them on a track... straights or curves, no difference
