Tokyo Auto Salon 2012 -- girls

Since when do models in flashy-costumes sell CARS? One goes to an auto show to look at things on four wheels, not two legs. If one wants to look at girls (and, of course, there's nothing wrong with that), that's what beauty-pagents are for.
I chuckle at auto shows when I see shapely girls up on the turntables, with tons of make-up on them, in skimpy or flashy-costumes, reciting the same company-fed public-relations speech, over and over like a parrot, trying to describe a new car. In most cases (there a a few exceptions) they know less about the car they are trying to describe (and about cars in general) than many of us here at CL.

I love Japan, I wish I am Japanese all the time.
I did find the percentage of models that are actually hot is low though.
There are entire communities in Japan for this hobby of taking pictures of car show girl.

What I found the most interesting from the few times that I was at TAS, that this is perfectly normal and appropriate, and the models would pose to accommodate their "desires" too
