Hey all!
I've been following you guys since several months ago, but didn't register till some days ago... I'd make an introduction thread later, let's focus first on the new models Lexus will unveil this 2012.
Have you seen this pic? It pretty much unveils how are new models' front grille:

I think the RX F Sport is going to be very nice...I'm looking forward to that one. Some vehicles will be more drastically refreshed with the new face, whereas some really won't receive/need a huge change.
For example, the front ends of the GX and RX don't mesh well at all with the spindle theme. Those are going to have to be significantly redesigned to make the spindle work.
LX (despite the reactions here) was relatively minor...the general shape was already there, they just added the fangs and it now flows into the spindle.
With the LS, the trapezoid in the bottom grill is going to have to be flipped upside down and that one should require a bit of work, but I'm not thinking that it will be as radical as the GX and RX. CT will just need to be sharpened up a tad - not much at all.
ES and IS will be all-new, so those are irrelevant.
LOVING the spindle so far...awesome

I see Lexus' strategy now and can guess the order of the new model releases. The spindle grille starts with the GS, develops further with the LX refresh, even more so with the ES, the RX is refreshed with almost a full spindle and then BAM! -- the new LS with a full spindle. Rounding out the release cycle is the 3IS with its own full spindle. (Which then leads to a GS-F with full spindle in late 2013/early 2014 )
GS (new) - Spring 2012
LX (refresh) - Spring 2012
ES (new) - Summer/Fall 2012
RX F-Sport (refresh/all new F-Sport trim) - Fall 2012
LS (new) - Spring 2013
IS (new) - Winter/Spring/Summer 2013
GS-F (new F model) - Fall 2013

So, after RX's leak these are the remaining models for this year:
This is from Lexus Europe's press releases:
Notice that 2 new hybrid powered models will be released in the Geneva Auto Show. Any thoughts? It can't be the GS, RX or CT. So are we expecting the new IS, ES or LS? Taking into account that it needs an F Sport version, it looks like the IS.
This is from Lexus Europe's press releases:
LEXUS AT THE 2012 GENEVA MOTOR SHOW
• European premiere of award-winning LF-LC Concept Car
• All-new high-performance full hybrid GS 450h
• Lexus F SPORT range including two new 2012 models
Award-winning LF-LC Concept Car
Honoured with the EyesOn Design Award for the Best Concept Car at this year’s Detroit Motor Show, the Lexus LF-LC, a new design concept for a hybrid 2+2 sports coupe, will make its European debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
Powered by an advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive system, the LF-LC represents a new, more sporting image with an entirely driver-focused vehicle displaying a possible future design direction of the Lexus brand. The LF-LC showcases the new Lexus design language in a bold interpretation of the signature Lexus ‘spindle’ grille and rear architecture, demonstrating a fusion of distinctive style and engineering functionality.
All-new GS 450h
Also on display at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show will be the all-new, high-performance GS flagship, the full hybrid GS 450h, which goes on sale in Europe this summer.
All-new exterior and interior design combines commanding road presence with increased cabin room, luggage space (by more than 60%) and comfort for all occupants. The GS 450h’s second generation Lexus Hybrid Drive combines superior engine performance and improved driving dynamics with a 23% reduction in fuel consumption to just 5.9 l/100 km, and CO2 emissions lowered to only 137 g/km.
Expanded F SPORT Model Range
The full range of Lexus F SPORT hybrid vehicles will be on display at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, including two new vehicles to be launched in 2012.
Offering customers the opportunity to experience the true spirit of F performance models in a wider range of Lexus models, the F SPORT grade brings bespoke design features and a new depth of driving engagement and ownership satisfaction.
Introduced by Mr. Andy Pfeiffenberger, Vice President Lexus Europe, the Lexus press conference will be held at 10.30am on 6th March, on Stand 4211 in Hall 4.
