Here are some Google interior-shots, but I can't vouch for their 100% accuracy.

Though I usually prefer black leather, the red would be very nice with a white exterior.

Looks decent. But same looks as 2004 and up compared to the CTS/DTS etc.

The only thing itll be killing is the none market it has and the expensive mechanic repair bills of a overhyped vehicle.

Such as the CTS-V. Not many around..

I think Cadillac is one of the few domestic carmakers that shows that it can build competitive and world-class automobiles. And this ATS shows it

Now that I looked at the Buick Verano, I gotta look at this one. I hope to see it at the D.C. Auto Show in a few weeks, if they display it there. Hopefully (but not certain) it will be out on the floor, unlocked....or one out in front, on the street, for a test-drive. Last year, GM and Kia had 6 or 7 new models available for quick local test -drives around the city streets near the show. You signed up, showed your drivers' license, took a puff on the Breathalyzer, picked out what car you wanted, and waited until they called you.

Amazing to see Caddy bring a true RWD entry level car here while Acura is trying to fool its fans with a Civic based ILX that peaks out around 200hp. A damn shame.

Will people buy a small Caddy? I think they will find a new group of buyers here as well as older ones who want a Caddy for a lower price.

What does stink to me is the XTS being FWD/AWD and its clear it is missing the RWD proportions of the ATS/CTS. How the hell is your flagship FWD and your base model RWD?

The Editors Letter in the February issue of C&D says that the XTS isn't going to be their flagship (also, typical C&D not acknowledging the LS), and Cadillac "will" have one. Let's hope these reports hold any water. I like the subtle look of the ATS, but am not "Wowed" whatsoever.

Edit: might as well scan it in, 3rd paragraph..(sorry if it's too big)

Caddy already has the CTS, CTS-V (and, apparantly, the ATS) for the sport-sedan, RWD crowd....though the CTS, of course, also (properly, IMO), has an AWD option. The XTS is going to have to appeal to at least some of the traditional Cadillac owners who are b**ching about the demise of the DTS (and, believe me, there are plenty of them out there). That means at least a fairly good-sized, reasonably-smooth-riding, cushy, quiet FWD luxury-sedan. One nice thing, of course, on the XTS, that the DTS never got, will be the AWD option. Same with the Lincoln MKS flagship over the Town Car, though, IMO, the MKS is too small and has tires that are too-low-profile.

I think the design is on the boring side. It has CTS resemblances, but it looks pretty weak compares to CTS. Unlike other cars in the same class such as IS and e92 3 series, which look less mature than GS and 5 series respectively, ATS looks a lot more mature than CTS. I don't know why Caddy chose more fluidic front over edgy front like CTS, but it lacks of personality on the front compares to CTS. All in all, I would take CTS over ATS design wise.
