I don't like it...seems less aggressive and more of a SC 430/GT cruiser type. I mean its an example of obvious design
1. Bigger grill check
2. Bigger headlights check
3. Bigger vents check
4. Bigger creases check
5. Bigger wheels check
I'll have to see it in person....the last two SL's aged incredible.

Back end looks like Solara meets S Class...I'll have to see how those lines come together in person to make a judgement, but I'm "meh" from the pictures.
The front end is horrible. Those headlights look like sad puppy eyes and the shape is quite frankly UGLY.
Interior looks decent, typical MB.

I"m not a big fan. The character swoosh on the side looks tacky and reminds me of the Dodge Charger. Over done.
The headlights are much too big. Sorry MB, the last 2 SL's were amazing and still look fantastic. This one is over stylized IMO.

I think the design is overall decent. It is nothing radical but rather evolutionary - every SL generation has typically evolved like this.
What I don't like is the rear, which appears a bit characterless.
However, I do feel that this design looks much more promising than the outgoing SL, which I personally always found to be a bit on the boring side.
