Sounds like an ignorant moron. I would hope an older man, and a veteran at that, would conduct himself better than that.
I was however, annoyed by the guy speaking. Talking like that, regardless of whether or not you can back it up, just makes you sound like a high school locker room moron. Not defending the vandal however. The owner of the EVO could be looking at battery charges.

Enjoy your aggravated assault charge dumb ***. Other guy will probably get vandalism/destruction of property. Playing the patriotic, (be it also stupid) card, he'll get a lesser charge than the Mr Video showboat.

It's hard to fault the guy who opened a can of whoop-*** on the guy who just spray painted his car. I don't think any of us here could say we would just kindly ask the man to stop and have the restraint to call the police. I would get pissed if someone accidentally put a door ding in my car.
The vandal is a disgrace to all veterans and Americans alike. If you ask me, he got what he deserved and got off pretty easy for messing with another man's car.

Saw the original post on evolutionm.net (I am a active member, though I sold my Evo about 2 years ago) and it's been locked since then.
In that type of situation I don't know how I would react; I'm sure many of us would like to beat the guy up.
However, I would surely not record it on video and post it online like some big bad thug.

To be honest, i'm the type of person who makes smart *** comments and always gets the last say, so in this situation i would have confronted the guy, said some things just calling him retarded or something, called the police and let them take care of it.

I read through some of the thread on the Evo forums and the guy apparently vandalized some 6 cars prior to getting caught with this guy's Evo. If he was charged with assault and battery I doubt it would hold up since he was defending his property and only beat up the guy enough so he couldn't escape.
Got what he deserved IMO.
