For now looks like a Nissan highlander which is a good thing. Looks much better than the JX to me. Nice work!

Funny thr G25/37 has 07-09 GS 450h wheels and this has 10-11 GS 450h wheels. Very similar

Should get a new name. The new model is soft, feminine, and not rugged at all- all opposite of what the Pathfinder has stood for.

I agree that it should be under a different name, but the design is very nice for a change. Usually Nissan is putting out over-the-top experimental-type designs that are very hit or miss. This is nice for a change.

While I agree with this there is no doubt this will sell well. I assume they are confident this and the Murano will serve different markets.

With the Pathfinder name, this will sell on that merit alone, like Maxima.

Well done Nissan... Looks great imo...

Hopefully this will ride better than the Frontier which is a stiff and a bumpy ride imo...

Needs projector beam headlights to match the fogs.... Design looks great...

I thought there was some talk a few pages back about them keeping some of the 4WD components even though it's going to be unibody. Why bother with 6 inches of ground clearance at the front? Some of these CUVs, like the Mercedes GL, do a decent job of hiding their unibody origins, but this Pathfinder looks about as off-road capable as a Chevrolet Traverse.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder Concept
Just the Facts:
-Nissan's midsize Pathfinder SUV is shifting from a body-on-frame design to unitized construction for model year 2013.
-The Pathfinder Concept previews the production version that will reach U.S. dealers this fall.
-The 2013 Pathfinder gets a smaller V6 engine and continuously variable automatic transmission.

To secure a 25-percent increase in combined city/highway fuel economy, while retaining the vehicle's towing capability, Nissan is reducing the weight of the 2013 Pathfinder and fitting it with a smaller-displacement V6 and a continuously variable automatic transmission.

The current 2012 Pathfinder, which shares its body-on-frame architecture with the much larger Nissan Armada, comes with a standard 4.0-liter V6 and five-speed automatic transmission. The EPA rates that combination at 15 mpg in city driving and 22 mpg on the highway.

The next-gen Pathfinder is likely to borrow heavily from the Murano, which has a 260-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 and a CVT, with EPA city/highway ratings of 18/23 mpg.

Nissan said the smaller V6 in the 2013 Pathfinder "maintains nearly the same horsepower as the previous generation's larger-displacement V6."

Nissan and Infiniti interiors are beginning to be indistinguishable from one another. Looks good, though.

Looks very unPathfinder like, almost like a Murano XL . Still prefer the R50's exterior design.

Looks real nice and promising.

Granted, it is a total departure from the mean, rugged and brutalist look of the current Pathfinder. But I guess Nissan just wants to try a different approach for this one.............

The Murano, MAxiam and now this Pathfinder interior look identical to Infiniti interiors. Great for Nissan but not good for Infiniti. What a big step up inside!

This is going to be a hit for them. Nissan is quietly kicking *** and taking names while the media continues to stroke Hyundai/Kia.

It is sad to see the demise of the true Pathfinder, the off-road warrior, but this is a matter of economics and the thing has "hit" written all over it. It will take on Highlander and hopefully Nissan will still have something else rough and tumble (keeping Xterra maybe?) that will battle with the 4Runner.
