A lot of great info!

I googled the maximum boost pressure. 1.5 bar = 22PSI? Nicee!!!

But realizing all that stuff that is going on in that car when your driving it, i would afraid to own one past any applicable warranty
Looks like BMW did crazy work on this motor though and the output is nothing short of beastly. Can't wait to drive one myself

Considering how fast this engine makes their SUVs I am not surprised. Wow!

considering most diesels now run at 2 bar, there is a lot of possible improvements in the future :-)

Off topic, but I hope the GSF pulls a 0-60 in under 4 seconds.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but C&D's 0-60 times are usually faster than other mags due to roll out (Edmunds, for instance, provides numbers with and without rollout). 122mph for the 1/4 mile is awesome though.

Looks like the German horsepower wars are continuing.

Hopefully Lexus can step up with the GS-F.

No other Japanese luxury car maker (Infiniti and Acura) can probably afford to take the leap.

^^^
The GS-F (if ever Lexus will make one) can definitely keep up with the performance Germans.............as long as it has 500 HP (minimum)

P.S.
Anyways, wow that's sick. So I reckon that 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) under 4 seconds is possible. Wow

And with that:
The next RS6 is coming up. I hope Audi will step it up to match what the M5 (F10) has offered.

It will be very interesting
