Sounds about right. Regardless the ZL1 will have around 580hp. Then I'd expect the GT500 to be in the neighborhood of 600+

Crazy enough that's not even the Super Snake which is rumored to have 800hp

love the GT 500 but I would never buy one (at least new) my biggest problem with the GT 500 is that its based on the regular Mustang that you can buy for under $20K....its hard for me to imagine they added $35000 worth of equipment.....just a mental thing with me I guess

oh, plus a base C6 will still beat it

I love the GT500. I doubt I'll own one anytime soon and I would rather have a C5 Corvette.

No doubt it is a very nice performing ride. The ones I see here get a hacked exhaust and hearing them rumble up has become more of an ear annoyance. The Camaro and Chargers not far behind. For the smiles it is a good act, just the Vette catches me more.
