Problem was never the designers but what they were told to design. For instance Denzo did Prius and then he did FT-86.

Toyota has been teasing us with that freaking Ft-86 like Honda has been with a "new" NSX for awhile now.. At this point Toyota needs new blood and newer people that can wear a decent haircut or at least be bold enough to go with the Mr.Clean look.. Get some ***** Toyota!!

uhm, i think you mixed something up... FT-86 will go on sale in less than half a year.... NSX is nothing but rumor.

Vanilla sells and quite frankly I prefer vanilla than OMG ugly chocolate squirrel nuts with cow toes green mint tea leaves pizza flavored ice cream. I prefer bland to ugly, period.

The Rav-4 is a nice example of a good looking SUV. The problem is people hate Toyota and rather fap off to anything else.

I interpret his look as individualize and doing his "own" thing, not caring about outside opinions.

So it's a 50/50 shot, either a home run in design or major misses (e.g., Pontiac Aztec, Isuzu Axiom). For sure, no boring in-betweens by the looks of this guy.
