Kia GT To Enter Production

It has only been a few weeks since Kia surprised the world with their new GT Concept ahead of the Frankfurt Auto Show, but they've already prepared another surprise for us.Kia has announced that the GT will be going into production and that we will be seeing the first ones arrive in 2013.We don't have a word yet on price, but it would probably be safe to assume that it will cost noticeably less than similarly styled vehicles, like the Aston Martin Rapide.
It is also as yet unknown if the name will be changed.Ford already has a car called the GT, so we're expecting that there will be a name change revealed around the time the production version of the car makes its debut. As long as the 3.3-liter 390 horsepower V6 from the concept makes it into the production car then we'll be happy.

Interesting...
How are they going to get 390hp from a V6? TT or Hybrid?
Is there really a need for a low end version of a 4dr coupe? With the CLS, A7, Rapide ect around already?

I dont know many people who dont like the A7 or the Rapide , so why not make a sedan like those that normal people can afford and to allow more people to enjoy the new styling. These sedan are actually more utilitarian than a standard sedan because of the increased trunk space.
I say bring it

I totally support this move. I love having 4 doors while looking like a coupe, but being a college student I can't even begin to think of a CLS or the god-almighty-beautiful aston martin.
Im pretty sure if this car will sell in ridiculous numbers if the production looks similar to the concept

With today's technology, that is not much of a problem.
Don't forget the CC and Pananera.
To be honest, I'm not much of a fan of that type of styling. The rear-seat compromises made by the low-humpback-whale rooflines make it just too difficult for tall people or those getting in and out. The generally small windows and big C/D-pillars can also impede rear-visibility from the drivers' seat.
