Hmmm...

Interesting...

I never really thought the LS was ever underpowered. It is quite sufficient. To make a 650 hp LS is quite extravagant, and I am more concerned about driving dynamics over speed.

Any (un)official Ring times?

Even if the GS F has more HP than the LFA, it still won't really change the desirability of the GS F. The GS F will still be a sedan, and with such power the engine would be supercharged. It would be a very different driving experience than the LFA, and it wouldn't come close to the LFA in terms of overall experience, handling, or driving dynamics. The LFA's V10 has incredible throttle response that a GS F wouldn't be able to match.

Overall, the LFA is desirable for many reasons, and HP is only a small part of of those reasons.

Oh snap! This looks very promising. It's about time Lexus thought about spiking the punch at the party.

Love me some modded LS and this one looks good. The wider fenders seem a little to sharp though. Could have been smoother looking.

If under the skin of this LS is the new Chassis, which shares with new gen SC, I bet new LS and SC will be made to F performance line.

With that much power, they just need average looking front and sexier rear because this will smoke its rivals.

According to the engine spec sheet it's a "TMG" edition LS. What does that mean? Also 0-60 in 4.2s in an LS is insane, it even puts the new Audi S8 to shame.

9000rpm! 650hp! With the IS-F's V8, now I'm no engine Guru, but Supercharging/Turbocharging an engine and increasing the rev limit- does that usually go hand in hand? Love the carbon roof. Testing this thing shows that Lexus is up to something. It's not just a garage queen. Last time around we were shown pics of it in the TMG facilities. Now they're testing it in their backyard. Can we speculate as to what this means? Engine system? Chassis? New LS basis? All of the above?

TMG = Toyota F1 = TTE = more or less TRD Europe.
