Does anyone know where this Lexus Cooler came from?
My roommate and his girl friend bought this for me at a local thrift/antique store since I just picked up my SC300 a few months ago. They thought it would be great for taking lunch to the racetrack. All the info I was able to find about it was from one sold by AsianGirl007 about 6 years ago.
I just wanted to know where it came from and if I could order all the little pieces that came with it. (4 plates, 4 cups, 4 spoons, 4 forks, a pairing knife, cork opener, and a bottle/can opener)

NICE FIND! I think those came as an option in 1st Gen LX450's...I think I remember reading something somewhere about that. Either that or it was a Dealer Accessory. Either way, VERY rare find.
Liz had one? That seals it, it must have been an option. She worked at a Lexus Dealer for the longest. RIP Liz.

Those were the good Lexus promo items given to salespeople as incentive prizes way back in the day. Those items were given to the salespeople for FREE.

i believe you can order a cooler from lexus uk (1sicklex first reported this here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...ition-u-k.html ), but i don't think it has the forks, knives, etc.
edit: you can see the cooler (called a cool box) here: http://www.lexus.co.uk/range/rx/acce.../interior.aspx

Lexus corporate sent me one of those back in 1995 after I bought my first Lexus, a new ES 300. It sat in my basement for years before I sold it at a garage sale. Now I wish I had kept it.
