Thumbs up Rendered Speculation: 2012 Lexus GS

Now that is a car I wouldn't mind owning. Makes the 5 series look like a docile family sedan and the A6 like a cheap Chinese knockoff. If Lexus is smart and wants to make the brand exciting, that is what they should do. They talk the talk but can they walk the walk?

I would trade my IS in for that.

I think the nose part where the grill is should be a little more in line with the headlights though, headlights look a little far back compared to the grill area.

But damn that would be hot if they made the next GS like that!!

Nice PS. I'm still hard pressed to believe that Lexus would drop the hi-beams as a separate enclosure. It's like a GS staple much like the E Class is to MBZ. Time will tell

I don't care what they traditionally do, if they make this then I'm all for it. If they water it down with cheap looking lights and a generic conservative design then too bad.

Nice down to earth chop! Could end up looking like that minus fog light creases but I still prefer concept over any toned down rendering

All I care about are the h and the F.

Nice chops, well done.

not round enough to be a GS, look much like the IS.

it looks super nice but I dont think Lexus wants all the cars to look identical to each other.

Sorry to be the voice of decent here but I just can't get myself on board with this car. No matter what anyone does it just doesn't look very special to me. I actually prefer the current design better. Much better. It's possible that it may grow on me as I see it in the real world but I don't like it as is.

Nice photoshop.

It is a good looking car, but to me, it looks too IS. From far away, you can see the current GS is a GS because of the quad headlights. I can mistake that for an IS-F.

I haven't even watered it down that much, so unless they plan on watering it down even more (quite likely), I don't think it will look any better than that. The headlight shape in particular will probably look very conservative.
