Why showing off is bad when cops are around (DB9 content)
If yall remember I was interviewed by the news a few years ago about this spot..it was wild and we welcomed the increased police presence .
Well things started getting nutty again and myself and a lot of others stopped going. Had to go to early to park, all the crappy cars took the good spots and tons of craziness going on.
Its sad b/c you would sometimes see some nice stuff and chat with people you don't see often but the recklessness is too much

The laws vary state-by state on this, so there is no one hard and fast rule, but many jurisdictions have what is called a "break-traction rule". If you spin the tires, on dry pavement, to the point where they squeal, smoke, or slide, a cop, if they see or hear it, can write you up for that, even if you are not breaking any speed limits or any other traffic laws.
