I think the Gh has the most awkward side profile, even compared to the 3GS.
I still can't get past the squiggly hoffmeister kink/door. It's almost as awkward as Infiniti's kink.

in bright lighting, you can see how far the Gh grille sticks out.

the 5 series side profile is the one to beat, especially behind the B pillar.

For some reason I dont think that the production car will look anything like we see now... If you take a look at LF-Ch and CT200h now, only certain details were transfered

We are comparing a concept to production cars. The 5 is nice from the side but IMO only with the sport package otherwise it is bland and uninspiring. I now sadly find myself confusing the 5/7 all the time and from the front the 5/5GT/7 etc.

I hope that Lexus doesn't go to the old and redundant 1 style different sizes the Germans use. I don't care if non owners complain about Lexus styling, I can distinguish them as a Lexus without them looking the same/identical and with different grills.

The IS/GS/LS/ES have always looked different while sharing cues. I do not want them to all look too similar.

That's not much of a concept. I'd think that's close to what the production model is going to look like. I'm not sold on the grill but I think Lexus has to go for it. The 'shops that some have done make the car look like nothing more than a current gen with a kit. When I first saw it I thought to myself, big IS-F. Lexus has to take bold strides and that grill is a step in that direction. I'm sure they'll refine it, and the end-product will not be everyone's cup of tea but in order to evolve, they have to be bold enough to take chances. If they don't go with the grill then they are left will nothing more than a glorified refresh.

My biggest gripe is it's resemblence to the last gen 5. That was a style I didn't car for.

They still have time to make it look more like the new 5 series. I'd be ok with that

I agree, and i hope the production is a lot better.

it could go both ways though.

I like the CT concept much better than production. the concept proportions were good. the CT200 has small wheels, and a weird looking rear door and window kink.

the Gh concept, on the other hand, only has one good angle IMO, and that's after it's photoshopped.
Hopefully it will turn out for the better.

It's just a design language that Lexus is going to take. There's nothing that says this is the production shape to me. Lexus knows what they're doing. We should trust in them. The grille will be toned down, the hood will be lower, I wish they'd keep the wheels though. I'm just hoping they keep the wheels and the aggressiveness.

I'm not that great at Photoshop, but I do have some ideas that I want to show you guys, but I don't know how to do it.

Can someone do a chop for me, and I can show you what I picture it to look like?

I agree the wheels look good but I will just assume they are saving that for a GS-F.

Hybrid will get some puny wheels.

Default Can Someone Please Chop It Like This?

Like I mentioned a few moments ago, I'm not that great at photoshopping.

This is the idea I have in mind:

^You can use the side view mirrors from this GS:

And for the Side view of the car, in case you don't see what I mean, I want the F badge and the thing on the bottom from the ISF:

And how the line from the taillights goes through the door handles like in the 5 series:

Also, on the hood of the car, you see those red lines, can you make it darker and blend in more, to give it some, "sportiness".

Anyway, if someone can chop it with the ideas I just mentioned, I think it will look really nice.

So, can someone help? Please?
