Next Gen Lexus Line Up
I'm just curious to know, when are the new Lexus IS, GS, and LS models coming out?
Also, when a newer model comes out, does the previous model get hit hard with a price drop?
I love the 2007-2009 Lexus LS body, I don't like the 2010-current, cause of the way the tail lights look with the orange.
An 07 LS costs around $30k now. How much do you think it will cost in 2-3 years?
$25k? Less?

Why is the LS coming out so late?
The current gen came out in '06 with the '07 model.
In '09 they did the refresh with the '10 model.
Is Lexus doing a 6 or 7 year refresh cycle?

2012 will be a huge year for Lexus, with new bread and butter models debuting or going on sale. Sadly for them, it all comes at once and isn't spread out. I just hope the next IS finally ditches the green interior lights.

I wish one new car for each year from Lexus. So 2011 with CT, 2012 with GS, 2013 with IS, 2014 with ES and/or LS. All SUVs/Crossovers from Lexus has just been updated, so no new one expect to come soon.

I am starting to assume they were all pushed back a year at this point. Don't forget the SC will be back.

Could definitely be possible. Toyota is very serious now about quality and problems, so it's plausible all the models may have been pushed back to double and triple-check that everything is good, and to catch and minimize any issues or quality problems.

I rather them wait and get it right then rush the product. Plus current owners will be happy knowing they still are driving a "current" model.
We know historically Lexus management makes decisions in regards to the lineup. Also I expect some more hybrids to debut and new sport models, quite an expansion on opposite levels.
The mid decade might be amazing for Lexus.

I agree, I rather wait longer but have them get it right. I have a feeling all the next-gen Lexus models will be BIG improvements over the current generation models, especially given what I have heard regarding the new Camry.
I think it will end up being a HUGE product onslaught that will surprise the competition, and steamroll many competing products.

I would love for it to be large and powerful enough of a coupe to compete against those 2 classes.
Can you also imagine an SCF to compete against the M6 and CL65 AMG?!
An SCF pushin at least 450hp, real light weight, and 0-60 times between 4-4.5 seconds, will be a real contender against the likes of an M6 and CL AMG. A CL63 AMG costs $150k msrp, and the M6 msrp is $100k.
To have an SCF with an msrp of $85k-$90k, with Lexus quality and great performance, it will be a monster.
