Absolutely loving this car through and through.

Interior center console is reminiscent of LFA or the new Porsche models in my opinion. I think the dashboard in a two tone color would be killer as well! Of course the Audi MMI system is there as well.

^^^

It's too busy, like the Panamera's center console.

But being a supercar, the Lambo can get away with such frivolities...

Interior to me is disappointing compared to my expectations. I guess my expectations were too high. The center console looks cheap, and not a fan of that design. The door sides and the dash surrounding the gauge cluster, as well as the steering wheel look cheap as well.

Also nobody has yet mentioned this, but despite all the carbon fiber hype, this thing has a curb weight of roughly 3472 pounds. That is quite heavy, considering all the carbon fiber hype, the Sesto Elemento hype, the hype from Lambo that this would be a very light car, and the not-so-luxurious interior.

Looks like a lot of plastic inside. The gear levers, the center console. Looks good just not 'high-end' ya know? That 3472lbs. is DRY WEIGHT.

Wait wait wait, so the curb weight is even higher than that? Disappointing given all the hype. They should have never had so much hype in the first place then.

Yeah, I can see a lot of plastic in the interior, and not that much leather, or Alcantara, or any other high-end materials.

The Murcielago interior was more minimal in design, but IMO it seems it used high-end materials almost everywhere.

This interior doesn't even look that much better or higher-end than an R8 or 911 Turbo interior.

Having spent some time in a few Lamborghinis recently and comparing the materials to those I see in these pictures, the only things made from plastic I see in these pictures is anything not black or orange in color. Seriously. (Except for buttons and the steering wheel column, of course).

That said, I agree that the interior design is somewhat disappointing esp in comparo to the wild exterior. But I think a lot of it has to do with the somewhat boring choice of colors. Yes, orange is hardly boring, but there's no contrast stitching and the colors of the dashboard can be broken up a lot better to make it look a lot less plebian.

It's hard to depict quality when the images are highly processed. Photo processing to this extent makes things look more plastic than they really are. I wouldn't know if it's high quality or not by looking at the pictures, and I'll probably never find out

I'm not sure if the quality of materials in the Aventador interior will match those in the Murcielago interior, unless the pictures are lying. I guess you can't definitely say until you sit in the Aventador interior. In terms of design, I think I prefer the minimal Murcielago interior. I think the Aventador's steering wheel is also a step back from the Murcielago.
